JACELYN RICE-BOAYUE
Dr. Jacelyn Rice-Boayue is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at North Carolina State University. She previously completed postdoctoral training at Duke University within the Center for the Environmental Implications of Nanotechnology. During that time she also served as a Fulbright Scholar at the International Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering in Burkina Faso. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Arizona State University.
Current Research Assistants
Rayeed is a PhD student at the Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department of North Carolina State. He holds an Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). My Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Washington State University focused on the fate and transport of tire wear particles (TWP) in the environment. Currently, his research focus is on down-the-drain pesticides. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, learning Spanish, and gaming. He joined the group in Fall 2025.
Maguire is a PhD student in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. His work currently focuses on pairing modeling and targeted field investigations for PFAS source allocation efforts. Maguire joined the group in Fall 2024.
